Peri Peri Pasta with SPICHI Peri Peri Sauce

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

   To Boil Pasta

  • Penne Pasta – 1 cup
  • Water to boil pasta – 2 cups
  • Salt -1 tbp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp

    For Making Pasta

  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Brocolli – 1 cup (chopped)
  • Green and yellow capsicum – 1 cup (chopped)
  • Corn – ½ cup (boiled)
  • Salt – ½ tbsp
  • Cheese – 2 slices
  • Mozarella Cheese – grated
  • SPICHI Peri-Peri Sauce

    For White Sauce

  • Refined Flour – 4 tbsp
  • Butter – 4 tbsp
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Salt – 1 tbp
  • Oregano – ½ tbp
  • Chilli flakes – ½ tsp
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp

      METHOD

       

       

      Step 1

      Boil 2 glasses of water in a pan alongwith 1 tbsp oil and salt. Add penne pasta and boil till al dante or 90% cooked. 

       

      Step 2

      Strain the pasta and rinse it with cold water to avoid sticking from each other. Add oil and mix.Keep it aside.

       

      Step 3

      Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add broccoli,capsicum,boiled corn and salt to taste. Mix it well and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat. After 2 minutes veggies are properly cooked. Take it out in a plate and keep it aside.

       

      Step 4

      Heat 4 tbsp butter in the same pan.When butter starts melting ,Add 4 tbsp refined flour and roast it for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup milk in batches and stir/whisk it continuously to avoid lumps.

       

      Step 5

      Add 1 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp oregano,1 tsp chilli flakes and ½ tsp black pepper . Mix it well and cook for another 1 minute.

       

      Step 6

      Add sauted veggies and boiled pasta . Mix it really well so that everything combines well. Finally add 2 slices of processed cheese and mix it well. Grate some mozarella cheese on the top of it

       

      Step 7

      Serve it hot with some more grated cheese on the top. Enjoy!!.
