KUNG PAO CHICKEN WITH SPICHI KUNG PAO SAUCE

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

  • Chicken Breasts - 300gm
  • Salt - 1tsp
  • Black Pepper - 1tsp
  • Dark Soy Sauce - 1tsp
  • Egg Whites - 2eggs
  • Corn Flour Slurry - 2tbsp
  • Oil As Required
  • Garlic - 5-6 Cloves
  • Dried Red Chillies - 4
  • Spring Onions – To Garnish
  • Bell Peppers - 1/2 Each
  • SPICHI's Kung pao sauce - 3 tbsp (50 gm)

 

Step 1

In a bowl add chicken cubes and mix salt, pepper, soy sauce, egg whites, Cornflour and marinate it for 30 mins. 

 

Step 2

Deep fry the chicken cubes and keep it aside.

 

Step 3

In a wok, add some oil and sauté the garlic till nutty brown, add some sired red Chillies and cook for a minute.

 

Step 4

Add spring onion whites and bell peppers and cook till crisp.

 

Step 5

Add salt, pepper and cook for another 2 mins.

  

Step 6

Add SPICHI's kung pao sauce and cook for 3-4 mins. Add a splash of water and thicken the sauce with cornflour slurry.

 

Step 7

Add fried chicken pieces and cook in the sauce for 4-5 mins.

 

Step 8

Add spring onion greens and give a final stir and serve HOT!.
